Patrick James Thomas

Patrick James Thomas is a film director, producer and writer from Lansing, Michigan. Patrick earned his Bachelors degree in Radio, Television and Film and Masters degree in Fine Arts in Film at Howard University. Patrick won a prestigious Paul Robeson award in 2009 for his work as a producer. As an artist, Patrick is interested in sharing stories that are personal, inspiring and shaped by exploring culture, history and faith. He is currently working on a film based on the life of Mississippian and educator Dr. Walter Washington, who was also the first black person to receive a doctorate degree in the state of Mississippi.
