Sydney Taylor is a vibrant filmmaker from Atlanta, Georgia. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business from Savannah State University and her master’s degree in Mass Communication from Georgia s State University. During her graduate years at GSU, she studied film and writing in Ecuador and learned mostly about Ecuadorian culture and how Afro-Ecuadorians are perceived in their media. Sydney has also created content for many organizations and people such as Jini Thornton, April Love, Atlanta Glad Girls and Atlanta Dream Shooting Stars. Sydney hopes to inspire, entertain, and bring awareness to the many societal issues the world faces today through her films and collaborations.
