Angela R. Muhammad, originally from Benton Harbor, MI, graduated from Howard University School of Communications in 1993 with a BA degree in Film Production. She is President and Executive Director of an online channel for women of color called Vanguard Television, the first 24 hour online television network dedicated to the enrichment and empowerment of women of color. Sis. Angela resides in Washington, DC with her husband Anthony K. Muhammad and their two children Asad (a student at University of Maryland - College Park) and Qiyamah a 9th grader.
