Chase Parker was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. His film career spans close to a decade. With no formal training, Chase is a self-taught filmmaker, following in the fearless self-taught footsteps of Devereaux Micheaux and Ava DuVernay. He started making short films in 2013 and has now amassed many festival selections like the American Black Film Festival, all under the umbrella of Pinot Media. Chase plans to continue elevating Black voices and stories through BlakOWND Productions. Jennifer Ford has a diverse background in media. She graduated from The American University with a B.A. in Film and Media Arts and went on to work for The Washington Post before moving on to L.A. to pursue a documentary film career. Instead, she leaned into a very niche part of production - Risk Management - at HBO where she rose from Assistant to Executive over seven years. She has worked with Producers on shows like Insecure, Big Little Lies, and Mare of Easttown. She has returned to her first love of unscripted content through BlakOWND Productions. And is the bilingual maven behind Getting Intimate with Spanish, a revolutionary Spanish course designed for Black Americans.
