Since being honored by Women in Film/Television Atlanta with the WOMAN TO WATCH AWARD in 2008, Crystle has been creating cinematic stories for all who wish to see. On the web, her directed works have collectively attracted millions of views, of whom tens of thousands are subscribers. In 09, Crystle was awarded by HBO, CHASE, and KODAK for her short film NEXT DOOR S NEXT, and has directed dozens more indie projects to date. Including PRIVATE GARDEN with Idris Elba, THE BLACK CAGE with Mykelti Williamson, and THE END AGAIN feat. Columbus Short. This year, she was a semi-finalist in Humanitas New Voices Program for writing. Crystle has directed and written a variety of stories from comedy/drama to sci-fi/thriller, as well as live comedy improv shows (Snack Pack Comedy Troop). Crystle has also assisted Writers, Directors, Producers and Showrunners on TV/Film projects such as The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks (HBO), Greenleaf (Harpo Films), The Red Road (Sundance), Red Band Society (Fox), and many more. She is a proud member of Yale University s Storytellers in Modern Media Program 2016.
