Denzel Jenkins is a recent Masters of Fine Arts graduate from the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California. Prior to enrolling at USC, Denzel graduated from the flagship University of Arkansas, obtaining a Masters of Arts in Journalism, with Documentary Productions his concentration. And before receiving his masters degree there, Denzel received his undergraduate degree at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, double majoring in Media Productions and Spanish. Denzel’s films have been award recipients of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences student emmy’s from the Mid-America chapter, Finalist for Student BAFTA Yugo Award, Outstanding Producing and Best Social Change film from the USC Faculty. Denzel's goal is to write and direct films that uplift persons of color in cinema by providing new representation, ideas to create dialogue and healing spaces with a multifaceted storytelling approach.
