James Reed, writer, director and producer of the hit indie film, Get A Job, featured in Jet Magazine, is truly an independent filmmaker that embraces the idea of being independent. The Columbia College graduate was born and raised in Chicago and groomed in a family of entrepreneurs. After many years of working in and out of the film industry, James came to the conclusion that instead of trying to pitch his script to Hollywood, he should green light his own film and raised the money through loans, credit, family assistance and creativity. Along with writing, directing and producing Get A Job, James also produced two short films, Hard Time and Man App, both of which went viral.
