Jenesis Scott

Jenesis Scott is a writer, director, producer and CEO of the multi-media company Sage Mastery House, which aims to provide mental and emotional wellness through the arts. The Mastery House also produces projects for up and coming creatives. Her guidance has helped young writers publish books and rising filmmakers showcase in film festivals and win coveted awards. In 2013 Jenesis stage-managed the play Rough Magic that opened in Scotland at the Edinburg Fringe Festival to rave international reviews; even being featured in the New York Times. In 2017, Jenesis produced that premiered at the the film Ibrahim The Black Star Film Festival. In 2020, she was one of the winners of the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) and went on to feature in several other festivals including John Singleton Script Competition directed the all-star film Amaru winning $20,000 in film funding. In 2022, Jenesis co-wrote and co- 30th Annual Pan-African Film Festival. In 2025 which premiered at the Jenesis won a Telly Award for her work producing the PBS/Black Public Media short documentary Trailblazer: Honoring Lillian E. Benson. Jenesis Scott continues her dedication to bringing stories of the everyday person to the public consciousness. She keeps her pulse to the community to ensure the under-served always has a voice.
