Jennelle Williams

Jennelle has been writing since she was six-years-old, and still has her first book that she wrote, illustrated, and “published” to prove it! She is a storyteller at heart, and moved from DC to LA to get her stories told, becoming a multi-hyphenate to do so. In addition to being support staff and staff writer on productions for Netflix, Comedy Central, and Bounce TV she is currently on a festival run for her first digital series, Car Therapy. After gaining interest at several film festivals like NewFest, Pan African Film Festival, and Outfest LA with official selections and nominations, she decided to write a half-hour pilot with hopes to get the series picked up. Jennelle plans to continue to do the work to get her projects to the big screens; writing and developing half-hour series and feature length films focusing on multi-generational familial, platonic, and romantic relationships within the black woman's experience. When not working on projects, she likes to replenish her creative juices with traveling, unplugging, and taking a good nap- literally anywhere.
