Jide Akinleminu grew up in the town of Ikorodu, Nigeria. Son of a Nigerian farmer and a Danish librarian. His family relocated in 1991 to Denmark. He studied music and soundengineering, later photography. Moved to Berlin in 2004 to study cinematography at the German Film & TV Academy (DFFB). Works as a freelance cameraman in various fields: Art, fashion, short films.. Seeking to both direct and film more documentaries.
