Martine is a former Ohio Assistant Attorney General turned filmmaker who’s worked as a producer and as a writer/director. She’s produced several feature films as well as reality based docu-series and launched Melange Media, Inc., a company that creates content for film, tv and new media. After attending screenwriting classes at UCLA, she began focusing on writing and directing. As a writer/director, she’s made several short films including a 1920s inspired silent film titled “The Silent Treatment”, “Purgatorio” which delves into the birthright crisis in the Dominican Republic and “Ella” which examines the relationship between a professional cuddler and her landlord. Currently, she is working on her first feature film as well as a short “proof of concept” film titled “Boukman” about one of the greatest revolutions in history.
