Monique Needham

I’m a British filmmaker, London born, of Jamaican origin and passionate about emotive storytelling of people of color. I’ve had a colorful career so far. A researcher/assistant producer back when Big Brother was the show everyone talked about and the early days of Come Dine Dine with Me. Moving into the world of advertising working with Ogilvy, BBH and brands like Burberry, Google, Apple and Samsung. Returning to my filmmaking passion I created a web series called Housemates which featured in Teen Vogue in 2015, released my first short film Cashpoint which won Best Editing at Underwire Film Festival 2019 and more recently told a personal story with my film Mum, Me. A story about a mother-daughter relationship and capture the moments that form that bond.
