THE HORIZON DOESN'T BELONG TO ANYONE (Ceew Mi L’Horizon N’appartient à Personne) \ 73 mins \ Senegal & Martinique

In February 2012, the director follows his dad who came to vote in Senegal amidst electoral tensions. This journey is also an opportunity to question his cross cultural descent between Senegal and Martinique, his mother's Caribbean island where he grew up with both his parents. (English Subtitles)

Note : Martinique is still a French territory (along with Guadeloupe and French Guyana in the Caribbean region). Senegal is a former French colony and still has strong commercial and diplomatic ties with France. French is the only official language of both places.
