A talented medical student reluctantly returns home to the village of Nakom after his father's death. Iddrisu temporarily assumes responsibility for the impoverished household and farm, inheriting a debt that could destroy the family. Attempting to maintain part of his studies from the confines of a small hut, Iddrisu struggles to balance tradition and familial duty with the call to follow his own dreams.
