In this experimental and performative documentary, artist InnaRae celebrates the West African concept SANKOFA by giving an intimate and inspiring account of her journey inward, back through the womb and directly to the heart of her late grandmother, Irene. The documentary also includes interviews from other women discuss sexuality, spirituality and self-worth. InnaRae uses the art of music and poetry to draw a broken soul to a place of peace and healing.
