Becoming Free follows three young people who are returning home to Washington, DC, after spending years or decades behind bars. Through a community-based program, they seek to break the cycle of poverty, violence and incarceration with entrepreneurship. But they are always walking the “thin line” that can lead back to prison with the smallest misstep along a new path to the future.
