Abandoned in a cage on a trailer in the desert, a woman refuses to surrender. She escapes and traverses pestilence and persecution, from desert to mountain to city, in search of those who left her to die. The powerful cling to their privilege, forcing her to flee again, ultimately seeking solace in her origins.
